Rest So You Can Pour Again
Rest So You Can Pour Again
Mark 2:27
“The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.”
Rest isn’t an escape from purpose—it’s what fills you so you can walk in purpose. Jesus didn’t break the Sabbath by healing—He showed what it was always for: renewal that leads to service.
Sabbath isn't selfish. It fuels generosity, service, and ministry. It reminds us: We’re not resting to avoid people; we’re resting to love them well.
Reflection: Ask God to help you use rest as fuel. Who could you serve out of a rested heart today?
