The Arrival

Palm Sunday – The Arrival

Scripture: Matthew 21:8-9
“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Jesus entered Jerusalem not with spectacle but with spiritual authority. The crowd laid down palm branches—symbols of victory and peace—welcoming Him as the long-awaited King. But many missed what kind of King He truly was. He wasn’t coming to take over politically; He was coming to take over hearts. His mission was not to rule from a throne of gold, but from a cross of sacrifice.

At red Church, we embrace this kind of upside-down Kingdom. We don’t just build big moments; we build people. Like the crowd, we shout “Hosanna!” not just in celebration, but in surrender. Let today mark the arrival of Jesus into every part of your life—your family, your workplace, your dreams, and your city.

Prayer Focus: The City & Community
Pray that Jesus would be welcomed into the heart of St. Louis. Pray that every neighborhood would feel His presence through His people. Invite one person or family to Easter at red.
