Jesus' Open Invitation
Jesus' Open Invitation
Matthew 11:28–30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Jesus didn’t say, “Come to church,” “Come to a vacation,” or “Come to a checklist.” He said, “Come to me.” True rest isn’t found in escape—it’s found in His presence. His rest is for your soul, not just your schedule.
He doesn’t promise you a life without burdens—He offers to carry them with you. His rest doesn’t remove responsibility; it re-centers you in relationship.
Reflection: Where are you looking for rest outside of Jesus? He’s inviting you again today: Come to Me.
