The Gift of Sabbath
The Gift of Sabbath
Exodus 20:8–11
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy…”
Sabbath isn’t about legalism—it’s about liberation. God gave it as a gift, not a guilt trip. When you practice Sabbath, you’re saying, “God, I trust You more than I trust my to-do list.”
This day is about delight. Not just stopping, but enjoying. Not just pausing, but remembering that you are not what you produce.
Reflection: What would it look like to create space this weekend for joy, worship, and rest? Plan for delight.
